Job Description
Up to £55,000
As an Audit Senior, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading audits from planning through to completion. You’ll be trusted to manage client relationships, supervise junior staff, and ensure high-quality, compliant work across your portfolio.
• Lead the day-to-day operation of audit assignments within the financial services sector
• Plan and scope audits alongside Partners and Managers
• Brief and supervise junior staff, reviewing work and providing regular feedback
• Attend and contribute to pre-audit and daily team meetings
• Review and finalise key audit areas including intangible assets, insurance transactions, technical provisions, taxation, and consolidations
• Prepare and finalise financial statements
• Ensure audits are delivered on time and within budget
• Maintain strong client relationships, responding to concerns efficiently and professionally
• Support internal training and staff appraisals
