Our client is a well established accounting firm providing comprehensive services tailored to companies, sole traders, and partnerships of all sizes across a variety of industries. Our client is UK based but is offering a 100% remote based opportunity for an accountant with practice experience.

Job Description

Up to £30,000

• Prepare monthly management accounts including performing analytical reviews.
• Prepare and send invoices to clients, bookkeep client transactions, and credit control.
• Attend and take part in client meetings.
• Perform bank reconciliations in QuickBooks and Sage.
• Prepare payslips for weekly and monthly payroll cycles for clients.
• Assist with the preparation of Corporation Tax returns, year-end accounts, VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
• Work pro-actively, taking care and ownership of workload and client portfolio.
• Remain responsive and attentive to client’s needs, cultivating an excellent client experience, service, and ongoing value.
• Nurture and build relationships with clients and stakeholders and work collaboratively with your team.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Ensure that all data and information is handled correctly according to Double Point’s processes, maintaining confidentiality with sensitive or confidential information belonging the firm or clients.
• Contribute to improving business performance and efficiency in your role, through identifying and/or implementing changes to existing processes or in service delivery for our clients.

Essential:
• UK Based / GMT Time zone.
• Confident in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns for limited clients
• High level of competency with Excel
• Comfortable working independently, pro-active, and can use judgement and initiative to make decisions.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbally, ideally with experience in Client relations.
• Excellent customer service skills, able to deliver high value service and experience to clients.
• Able to work collaboratively with team members.
• Knowledge / use of QuickBooks, Sage, Xero
• AAT – level 3 and 4
Desirable:
• Part qualified ACCA – or Qualified ACCA / ACA
